A message from our sponsor:
DBI Software
Today's show was about comparing DB2 9.7 to DB2 10.1, index jump scans in 10.1, and updated index design best practices. During DBI's quick commercial break, we showed how DBI makes it easy to compare database and SQL workload performance between any two timeframes so that you can accurately ascertain the impacts of changes, fix packs, or new releases. Please enjoy this short (2:34) flash video to learn how DBI can help!

Show Host Scott Hayes Commentary
I'd like to begin by thanking Martin Hubel, co-host of The DB2Night Show, for saving my bacon (so to speak). When I started the show, I had my screen sharing paused. Fortunately Martin (and attendees) brought this to my attention before we got into the meat of the presentation! So, when you watch the replay, don't panic, the presentation will display correctly!
100% of our studio audience learned something! Terrific! I am now glad and thankful that I stayed up until 3am the night before finishing tests for the presentation! I hope you enjoy the replays!
